Anna Rottenecker is a trilingual (English, French, German) specialist for fundraising and institutional development with more than 15 years of experience in the human rights sector. She has significant experience working with local, regional, and international organizations, both on organizational as well as fundraising strategy development. Anna works on a wide range of topics, but her special areas of interest are criminal justice reform, penitentiary reform, torture, ill-treatment, death penalty, detention of all sorts, and relevant international law.
Before her human rights career, Anna worked as Marketing Specialist and Event Manager in the IT and insurance sector.
Anna is currently a serving Board member of the Chapel & York Hong Foundation, an international philanthropy actor, and AdvocAid Sierra Leone. She is also a member of the Association for the Prevention of Torture and the International Detention Coalition, as well as the Swiss Fundraising Association, German Fundraising Association and the European Association of Consultants to and about Not-For-Profit Organizations.
Edward has joined the team in 2022 as Director. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Ed transitioned from a successful career in corporate marketing to focus on social good. Throughout his career, he has significantly contributed to the fundraising and brand development efforts of various nonprofits, including universities, professional institutes, and charities. Edward speaks fluent English, and Cantonese.
Edward is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Consultancy for Good and serves as the Executive Director at Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation, a global philanthropic organization, headquartered in the UK. He holds two part-time lectureships, teaching subjects such as fundraising, donor relations, CSR, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit operations, leadership, governance, and management.
Emma is a third-year student in marketing and communications. She has started with us as an intern in April 2024 and is today an invaluable part of our team. Employed part-time as project manager, she is responsible for everything related to communication, marketing, design, and community building.
Accounting and bookkeeping has been outsourced to Numberz Ltd, a team of dedicated accountants and corporate services professionals.
Stepping Stone Asia, in the person of Andrew Barclay, serves as our Company Secretary.
